The bridge tool slide accessory is used for facing, counterboring, inside beveling and beveling an open pipe end, especially for the heavy wall thickness pipe (Above 30mm). The slide mounted onto one OD-Mounted machine and "bridge" the end of the pipe. Another tool feed structure be supplied mounted on the standard tool feed structure that used for tool feed automatically, and a manual tool feed for setting the tool depth into the face of the pipe.

The bridge slide uses a single point tool and is available with beveling templates for various form contours. The feed wheel mechanism on the bridge tool slide feeds the tool slide radially in toward the center of the pipe. If you need to perform an operation feeding the slide out away from the center of the pipe, you will need to disengage the feed pin and operate the slide manually using a wrench on the castle nut.
